What the ITL was designed to be

The IP Token License (ITL) was a proposed licensing framework for verified trends. No current mainnet creator claim binds a trend or token to this license.

Why it matters

The ITL defines:
  • Who owns the IP behind a verified trend.
  • How trading fees are attributed back to the owner.
  • How third parties should treat tokens and derivatives under the trend.
Do not treat this document as legal advice or as proof of an on-chain license. The current Robinhood deployment does not include a Story Protocol licensing module.
